EQ Coaching

“You don’t have to be sick, to get better”

Emotional Intelligence Coaching for Leadership, Teams, Personal/Professional Growth, and Couples is one of my signature offerings. I am trained in this model by EQ pioneer, and my father, George Anderson, as well as certified to use and debrief the EQi-2.0 Assessment by MultiHealth Systems.

This is a unique service that is distinct from psychotherapy and based in measurable data and concrete and measurable goals in 15 Emotional Intelligence Skill areas. This model has been used with physicians and health care professionals, executives, and as a part of an online leadership and management training course that I taught for 3 years as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University Graduate School of Engineering.

WHAT EQ COACHING IS

  • Evidence-based, measurable, structured, goal oriented, concrete, positive, growth mindset

  • Goal setting is client-driven and collaborative

  • Structured with a pre and post test, providing a road map for change, and the opportunity to quantify progress

  • Flexible, beneficial for personal growth and relationships, helpful for couples, parents, and teens

WHAT EQ COACHING IS NOT

  • Psychotherapy. While I am a licensed psychotherapist, Coaching is not Psychotherapy, nor is it a treatment for mental health.

  • Life Coaching. Most life coaching lacks a concrete structure or guiding curriculum. I offer both, using the Anderson & Anderson Model.

  • For those with “problems”. EQ Coaching helps us reach our full potential. Our motto? “You Don’t Have to Be Sick, to Get Better”

  • EQ Coaching is not psychotherapy, and is not a mental health treatment. The EQ Coaching program consists of 12-hours of coaching, and 3 months of bi-weekly follow up. Coaching begins with the EQi-2.0 assessment and client-directed goal setting.

  • I offer both in person and virtual coaching via Zoom. I will also travel to provide coaching or organizational trainings on-site.

  • Please contact me directly for my rate. My rate is based on my credentials, specialty training, and years of experience. I maintain a limited number of sliding scale openings in my practice, subject to availability. For coaching, my rate includes the cost of the EQi-2.0 and a copy of The EQ Edge.
